FILTERING AIR THROUGH IONIZATION





Airborne particles become negatively charged, and when you inhale, the particles in the air pass through a positively charged collector surface. They become attracted and attached to the positive surface, which pulls them out so the air becomes purified and eliminates the particles in the air.



HIGHLY EFFECTIVE





Our Ionic UV Mask pulls down to class 100, meaning you can only have less than 100 particles below 0.5 microns in size in one cubic foot of air. That's the same standard as a surgical room in a hospital. It can filter out most anything in the air. It's more effective than an N95 mask. N95 is measured by weight. What they're talking about is a filter material that blocks out 95% of particles, and 5% can pass through. Our mask filters out significantly more than the N95 mask.



RAPID RESULTS





It starts working right away. For those with allergies, put on the mask, start breathing purified air, and the itching from allergies usually stops within five minutes.



SIX-HOUR BATTERY LIFE





The mask will run the UV and cleaning cycles for six hours on three lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, and the battery pack conveniently sits on your belt. If you can access a power source, a USB converter cable is included, so you can power up for as long as you want. An airplane traveler can use the USB port attached to an airplane seat, for UV-germicidal purified air with comfortably positive air pressure. You can sit there for hours, breathing easily.



COMFORTABLE, ECO-FRIENDLY





It’s easy to wear. The mask, made of medical grade silicone rubber, is really soft and comfortable and only weighs two ounces. It's secured with an elastic band. Unlike paper masks, the ionic UV mask doesn't make you feel like you're suffocating or breathing stale air. The mask is reusable and dishwasher-safe.



BORN FROM NECESSITY





As a long-time sufferer of allergies, engineer Pete Yuen created the Ionic UV mask after decades of working jobs that required him to wear uncomfortable N95 masks that did not adequately filter out pollen or dust. He also designed the mask to solve the air-quality problem for his daughter, who suffers from severe asthma.
